2022 WIMBLEDON CHAMPIONSHIP-LADIES' FINAL

Twenty three year old Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan defeated Ans Jabeur of Tunisia, 3-6, 6-2,   6-2.  Against 100-1 to win odds.  And after losing the first set.  It followed Ms Rybakina's convincing 6-3, 6-3 win over the 2019 Wimbledon women's champion, Simona Halep in the Semi-Finals.

Ans Jabeur's tricky drop shots were more effective against Elena Rybakina in the first set, winning it 6-3.  Though, with calm determination, athleticism, power and perseverance, Ms Rybakina won the last two sets, 6-2, 6-2 to claim the coveted 2022 Wimbledon Ladies' championship.  Match commentator, Chris Evert, winner of 18 major singles titles, described Elena Rybakina as being "fearless, courageous and playing with a lot of heart..." A spot on description.
