GUN VIOLENCE IN AMERICA CONTINUES TO RAVAGE ITS CITIZENRY AS POLICY MAKERS IGNORE THE FACTS

 According to the CDC, more people were killed by firearms than traffic accidents in the U.S. in 2019: nearly 40,000. In 2020, 38,824 people were killed in traffic accidents; more than 45,000 were killed by guns.


Tuesday, 24 May 2022.  Ovalde, Texas.  Robb Elementary School.  19 Children and two Teachers were killed by a lone gunman.  Weapon:  AR-15-style semi-automatic rifle. 

Saturday, 14 May 2022.  Buffalo, New York.  Tops Friendly Markets store.  Thirteen people shot.  Ten were killed and three were wounded by a lone gunman.  Weapon:  Assault-style rifle. 

213 mass shootings, in AMERICA, as of May 24, 2022.  A total of 45,213 human beings have been killed by gun violence, thus far, in 2022.
